Control and data acquisition I/O modules for use with Wartsila engines in generating set and propulsion application mode., The Input / Output Module (IOM-10) is a modular, universal, configurable, microprocessor based data acquisition units developed to interface with the Wartsila main engine control system. The IOM-10 contains analogue and digital channels, mainly for data acquisition purposes and communicates via redundant CAN bus links. Each IOM contains 16 differential analogue inputs, 4 digital input/output channels, 2 frequency inputs, 2 analogue (4-20 mA) and 4 digital output (+24V reference and HSD) channels. The unit is designed for mounting directly on the engine. Supplies to the module are connected to dual redundant power sources.
