Product Description

The EMS 2200/Platinum (formerly named DMS 2100i/EMS 2200) is a bridge manoeuvring system used for remote control of ship propulsion engines connected to a fixed or controllable pitch propeller. The system mainly comprises a telegraph lever and standard EMS 2200/Platinum operator panels with built-in 4-line display. The control electronics is based on the MCS 2200/Platinum series group of components. The main functionalities of the EMS 2200/Platinum electronics are as follows:, , Main engine start/stop., Auxiliary blower system., Main engine set point system., Main engine speed measurement and indication., Control transfer between control stations., , The EPS 2200/Platinum (formerly named DPS 2100/EPS 2200) is an independent engine protection system. The system is based on a DZM 402 PLC with built-in functions for overspeed protection. Its other main function is to monitor all critical parameters and performs shutdown or slowdown of the engine when those parameters are exceeded including engine start blocking. Shutdown cancel, shutdown reset and operating state of the EPS 2200/Platinum are performed and displayed on a dedicated operating panel.
