‘NVOD-B-15 Operable wall partition B-15 Classified seperation’
Bulkhead composed of fixed set panels and one mobile/operable panel of 2270 mm x 2100 mm (w x h)
which can be opened by sliding the panel in the fixed set panel.
Fixed set panel
A fixed set panel consists of two sandwich panels with an airgap of 190 mm in between.
Each sandwich panel consists of 0.7 mm galvanized steel sheets, insulated with 20 mm mineral wool
Isover BX-Spintex 683-200 DRA Naval (manufacturerd by Isover – Saint Gobain with density 201 kg/m3)
glued to the surface of the panels with an application rate of 200 g/m2.
The fixed set panels joints are tongue and groove, with edge profiles with the width of 20 mm between
the vertical panels and the horizontal one which acts as lintel in the gap of the mobile panel.
Sandwich panel thickness: 24 mm
Total fixed set panel thickness: 24 mm (sandwich panel) + 190 mm (airgap) + 24 mm (sandwich panel)
Mobile/operable panel
The mobile/operable panel consists of two (2) sliding elements permanetly connected with four (4) M10
8.8 quality threaded bars. The elements are consisting of an internal substructure made of Aluminium
ENAW 6060 coated with fire resistant intumescent paint type Fireblock 2000 and is reinforced with
vertical iron tublar jambs. The elements are covered by 17mm thick calcium sulphate boards
(manufactured by Knauf Integral - density 1546 kg/m3) on both sides. The mobile panel is manually
activated/deactivated with a hexagon key, located 1135 mm from lower edge and 1542 mm from left
edge (seen from unexposed side). The mobile/operable panel is supported by a partition aluminium
railtrack system. The rail is covered on the lower part with 16 mm thick calcium sulphate boards
(manufactured by Knauf Integral - density 1546 kg/m3).
Total mobile/operable panel thickness: 127 mm
A rebate of 132 mm wide and 4 mm thick is made on lower part of the panels. The elements have
mobile aluminium seals that close the gap with the rail track (on upper part) and ground (on lower part).
Intumescent gaskets are fixed on the horizontal edges of the panels.
The following perimetral profiles are provided:
- at the upper edge (galvinezed steel, 2 mm thick)
- at the lower edge of the bulkhead and both lateral sides (galvanized steel, 2 mm thick)
- lower edge of the mobile/ operable panel (metal, 4 mm thick)
