Product Description

Class A-60 Bulkhead "DQ-HYG/B-VII"
Composed of a 5 mm thick stiffened steel deck, insulated on stiffenered side (unexposed side) with one/(two) layer/(s) of insulation core on stiffeners/(steel plate).
The insulation core on the surface of the steel plate consists of a 40 mm nominal thick double layer HYG type high temperature resistent rock wool having a length of 1000 mm and a nominal density of 120 kg/m³.
The individual layers are staggered so that the seams are overlapped.
One (1) layer of the fire insulation is applied over each stiffener and overlap the fire insulation layers applied to the bulkhead plate.
Total nominal thickness of the two insulation layers on deck plating: 80 mm (40mm+40mm).
Total nominal thickness of one insulation layer on stiffeners: 40 mm.
The fire insulation is fixed with 3 mm in diameter welded steel pins (abt. 24 pins/m²) and 30 mm in diameter steel washers.
