Product Description
"A60 bulkhead - Biowool Marine Blanket Wrapped"
composed of a structural steel bulkhead insulated with a two layers of 20 mm thick LYKR-900T type Biowool Marine blanket (density 96 kg/m3) applied on the steel structural core as well as on the stiffeners following their contours.
Both the top and bottom blanket width compress from 610 to 600mm and to be installed in 600 mm widths to form slight compressed butted joints.
The blankets are held in place using steel copper coated pins (Ø 3 mm) welded to the bulkhead with Ø 30 mm steel washers. The pins are to be installed with a nominal spacing of 300 mm across the blankets and on average 300 mm (max. 350 mm) along the blankets, whereas pins at the joints between blankets shall have a nominal spacing of 150 mm from the blanket edge. Maximum pin distance to lengthways joint is 250 mm.
