Product Description
The ARCUSAFLEX-VSK coupling for cardan shafts are used in drive trains where large shaft displacement must be compensated for or an extended distance dimension bridged between the input and output sides. The highly flexible AC-VSK couplings are capable of shifting resonant ranges below the lowest operating speed and of reducing resonance induced torsional vibratory torques into allowable values., The highly flexible AC-VSK coupling has a combined axial and radial thrust bearing support for absorption of the weight of the cardan shaft and of the reaction forces (i.e. axial and radial compensation)., , Material grades:, Coupling Flange: GGG-40 (min. yield strength 260 N/mm), Hubs/articulated joint connection: S355J2G3N, Element connection discs: St 52-3 or St 37 (min. yield strength 360 N/mm or 240 N/mm respectively)
