Product Description

Air cooled lithium-ion battery based energy storage system (EES) for use in battery-powered or hybrid vessels and off-shore units.
The system consists of three parts, switchgear, battery modules and battery management system (BMS).
Battery trays are connected in series to form a rack and achieve the required system voltage.
System formed in racks which are installed in parallel in order to provide the required energy capacity.
Each battery tray contains a tray BMS which monitors cell voltage, temperature, executes cell balancing functions and sends information to the Rack BMS.
The rack BMS measures rack voltage and current, controls DC contacts, executes protection functions in abnormal conditions and transfers operational data to System BMS.
The system BMS manages rack BMSs in the battery system and provides an interface to communicate with external control devices.

Each battery tray consists of 16 lithium-ion battery cells connected in series configuration, a cooling fan and tray BMS.
