Product Description

“PlaPen A-0 Single Plastic Pipe penetrations”
Is pipe penetration system composed of the following elements:
- Steel sleve.
- Firestop wrap strip: Two sets of 4.5 mm thick of ‘CP 648-E’ (manufactured by Hilti).
- Holder: ‘Strap Clamp – B type’ fitted at the centre (manufactured by Sang Woo Clamp Co. Ltd).
- Filler: of ‘Portland Cement type 1’ manufactured by Hanil Cement Co. Ltd and ‘Hifa’ Foaming and agent (manufactured by Korea Industry Co. Ltd).
- Sealant: ‘QS119R’ (manufactured by KCC) which end/fill the gap between the pipe and penetration end cover plates.
- Insulation: two layers of 5 mm thick ‘Firemaster Ceramic Paper’ with density of 120 kg/m³ (manufactured by Thermal Ceramics UK Ltd), bonded by ‘Portland Cement type 1’ (manufactured by Hanil Cement Co. Ltd) from both sides.
In addition, the pipes are to be insulated with:
- 30 mm thick ceramic wool with density of at least 120 kg/m3 (manufactured by Byucksan Co. Ltd)
at least 300 mm along on both sides of bulkhead/deck.
- Aluminum foil ‘DK Aluminium2050’ (manufactured by Daekyung Chemical) between the gap and
pipe insulation and 100 mm beyond the ends of pipe insulation.
