YA-Type Penetration Pieces

Product Description

"YA-Type Penetration Pieces"
The penetration sealing system consists of an YN-A60 Penetration that is a steel fire sleeve for copper pipes of nominal diameter Ø 6-40 mm. The sleeve is 300 mm long, and is inserted with approx. half its length into a bulkhead/deck opening, and seal welded.
The YN-A60 Penetration has internal filler (against copper pipe), and is externally insulated with a stack of 9 layers of Hi-wool with nominal density 120 kg/m3 (each layer is 50 mm thick and with external size 250 x 250 mm). The Hi-wool insulation stack is also protecting the copper pipe, and is capped with a steel plate that is fastened with set screws to the pipe. The opposite side of the fire sleeve (which is the side without gland nut) is wrapped with 3 layers of glass cloth (each layer is 2 mm thick).
