The NV-8" Pressure Flow Shut-Off valve and control system have two distinct modes of operation: conventional flow shut-off mode and manual close mode. , The valve is equipped with dual proximity switch position feedback and when the valve is closed, both proximity switches will indicate no signal. , The valve is normally in the open position, and will automatically close when the flow rate reaches the flow shut-off rate, +/- 10%. This automatic closure is unidirectional. , In case of a flow shut-off event, the valve will re-open when the cylinder pressure and accumulator pressure are equivalent.
