The 5B Universal Base is a ceiling-mounted base compatible with Tyco M600/M900 Low Profile range and MX 800 detectors ranges.
The 5BI Isolator Base is compatible with the Tyco MX addressable controller loop circuits. It monitors the line condition and when detecting a short circuit, it isolates the affected section whilst allowing the rest of the addressing circuit to function normally.
