Product Description
The OceanDoctor BWMS uses a combination of filtration with a self-cleaning filter (50m) and disinfection with UV irradiation and photo-catalytic oxidation to produce the Active Substance OH-radical to treat the ballast water in uptake only. Due to the rapid decomposition of the hydroxyl radical used as Active Substance, there is no further treatment of the ballast water during de-ballasting, with the treated water being discharged directly from the ship., , Major components of the OceanDoctor BWMS include Filter, Photo-catalytic reaction unit (PC reaction unit), Control unit and Sampling facility., PC reaction unit is mainly composed of a reaction chamber, UV lamp assembly, photo-catalytic reaction film and a cleaner., Control unit is mainly composed of a UV power cabinet, a control cabinet, a remote control cabinet and monitor sensors.
