Product Description
B-WACS consists of the following:, , a) Signal Capture Unit (SCU) is installed on the low part of the crosshead guide and measures relative position between each guide-shoe and the proximity sensor at BDC (Bottom Dead Center) whenever engine operates., , b) Signal Analysis Unit (SAU) is installed inside the engine control console. The measured data is analyzed to determine bearing status. Analyzed data can be stored up to 5 years for investigating long term status of bearing., , c) Data Monitoring Unit (DMU) is mounted on the engine control console and offers operator user interface so that operator can check wear condition of bearings and see the final bearing wear value and wear trend, but DMU is not covered by this certificate.
