Product Description

VIKING MiniSlide with Landing (MSL) designed as alternative to embarkation ladders for embarkation from evacuation deck to liferafts for embarkation heights exceeding 1 meter but below 4,5 meters as measured from the embarkation deck to the top of the liferaft buoyancy tube(s) with the vessel in its lightest condition.
The VIKING MSL complies with the requirements for Embarcation Arrangements for Liferafts as stated in paragraph 13.1.5 section 13 Life-Saving Appliances of MSN 1792 (M) Edition 2 - The Large Commercial Yacht Code (LY2) issued by MCA September 2007.
The VIKING MSL and liferafts being fitted with means for safe connection and thus providing a safe passage for use with VIKING SOLAS inflatable liferafts up to 51 persons capacity e.g. throw overbord types 25 DK+, 35 DK+ and self-rightning liferafts types 25 DKS, 50 DKS and 50 DKS+ in accordance with general arrangement drawings and installation instructions by the manufacturer
The VIKING MSL packed in a coated fabric valise stowed readily available and means for fastening af the VIKING MSL is to be provided in accordance with general arrangement drawings and installation instructions by the manufacturer.
