The level-sensing device are based on electro-pneumatic sounding principle. LEVELMASTER and WIM system Level master H8 Comprise: Sensor and Control Unit, Power Supply, Solenoid Valve , Valve Control Board and Display units: Level monitoring: DU 350, Draft monitoring: DU 350 Draft and Water ingress monitoring: DU 350WIM, , LEVELMASTER H8 system uses a small air pulse, which is released in the tank pipe. In this system, the measurement of air pressure in the pipes is carried out by the Sensor & Control Unit. By connecting 6 pipes to one valve block, the number of pressure transducers can be reduced to 1/6 of those required by a conventional system. Furthermore, accuracy and reliability have been dramatically improved by the incorporation of digital flow regulators and additional features such as automatic periodic calibration and temperature compensation. , , In LEVELMASTER H8 Continuous system uses a small continuous flow of air, which is released in the tank pipe. The sensor and control unit constantly monitors the pressure in the pipe. The pressure is comprised of two parts: Dynamic pressure drop coming from flow resistance in the piping and one part, which is the hydrostatic pressure from the liquid inside the tank. Thus by measuring the air pressure in the tank pipe connected to the cabinet, often far away from the measured tank, the level of the liquid can be calculated, knowing the dynamic resistance of the pipe, the offset of the pipe to the tank bottom and the density of the liquid. , The Sensor & Control Unit in both systems can transmit the measured pressures with status information via two independent RS-485 ports (MODBUS RTU), to clients collecting tank data, such as Display units, Level gauging systems or Alarm & monitoring systems., The Water Ingress Monitoring (WIM) based on regular Level Gauging System LEVELMASTER with an Emergency Power Switch capable of switching between main and emergency power. The principle is simple, just measurement of possible water level with no regards to the required alarms or other demands. The alarms are then activated in alarm panel.,
