Intumescent sleeve

Product Description

“Intumescent sleeve”
a penetration consisting of a Ø50 steel sleeve with length 330 mm and 1 mm thickness, run through a split Ø51 steel conduit with length 80 mm and split base plate of size 150 x 150 x 3 mm for fastening/clamping to A-60 insulated bulkhead/deck with 4 pcs. self-tapping screws.
The penetration has an inner coating of intumescent paint, and Marine flex is used as joint- and end seals.
For bulkhead installation, the unexposed (insulated) side must be additionally insulated along the steel sleeve with 30 mm Paroc Wired Mat 80 (nominal density 100 kg/m3) attached by use of Ø1.5 mm steel wire. (Any other equivalent and approved A-class insulation may also be used).
