Self-contained air heaters suitable for ceiling or wall mounting. , Explosion-proof unit heaters contain metal sheathed tubular heating elements, along with the air circulation fan and required temperature high limit and power controls required for operation. , The heating elements, fan motor and control enclosure are all rated for operation in the specified hazardous area.

Electrical - Heaters can be supplied for single phase and three phase line voltages up to 600 Vac for either 50 HZ or 60 Hz and with wattage ratings up to 12 kW depending on unit size and hazardous location classification. | | Environmental - Heaters are rated for a maximum ambient temperature of 40C. | | Some inlet temperature restrictions may apply. | | Heaters are also available rated for corrosive atmospheres and with motors and control boxes with UL Type ratings of 4 and 4X (IP 66).
