Product Description
GTM 15 is an inline hybrid (open/closed) loop wet EGC unit. It passes the exhaust gases from the combustion unit through seawater. The wash water absorbs the oxides of sulphur (mainly SO2) and particulates from the exhaust gas resulting from the combustion processes. The particulates are removed in a cyclonic water treatment process, and the resulting sludge collected in a separate tank.
The treated wash water can be discharged to sea as long as discharge criteria are fulfilled.
