Product Description

Framo PLC Control and monitoring System, based on Mitsubishi PLC FX, Q-series.
• Control system for hydraulic power pack system
• Control system for Diesel engines
• Control of hydraulic Bow Thruster
• List of standard software modules for PLC’s: Closed System P2417, Diesel Control System P2312.
PLC software is developed and maintained in accordance with “PROSEDYRE FOR UTFØRELSE OG VEDLIKEHOLD AV PLS-PROGRAMMER”.
Control of diesel engines is incorporated in separate computer. Backup control independent of PLC. The system fail-safe philosophy is shutdown of hydraulic power pack in case of failure.
The system arrangement complies with IACS requirements M64.1
Diesel engine for this design have speed governor independent from this control and monitoring system.
Diesel engine have mechanical overspeed protection device independent from speed governor and from this control system.
