Product Description

“Class A-30 single leaf hinged fire door type “LMD-Poki-L (40)”
Single leaf hinged fire door composed of door leaf and frame and various fittings.
The door leaf is made by:
- 2 mm thick surrounding steel U-profiles of specification 20 mm x 46 mm x 20 mm,
- 3 mm thick reinforcing steel U-profiles of specification 20 mm x 34 mm x 20 mm,
- door infill composed from 0.75 mm thick steel sheet + 40 mm thick Caretta sandwich construction insulation board consisting of inner insulation slab (Paroc Marine Slab with nominal density of 160 kg/m³) with “Neptune sheets” board (with density of 1250 kg/m³ and thickness of 2.5 mm) bonded to each side + 0.75 mm thick steel sheet.
The door leaf is provided with a locking system. The lock casing is insulated on both sides with Promatect H board (nominal density 870 kg/m³, manufactured by Promat GmbH, Germany). A protection cap is welded to the back side of the door frame covering the holes for the lock. Along the hinged side of the door leaf, at a middle height from the bottom edge, a Ø10 mm steel safety bolt is screwed into the door leaf (matching hole in the door frame is fitted with a protection cap welded from the backside of the frame).
The door leaf is connected to the door frame (made by 3 mm thick steel Z-profiles of specification 64 mm x 50 mm x 20 mm x 14 mm) by three steel hinges. The door was tested with the door frame fixed to the steel bulkhead with M8 x 20 mm bolts (with nut per approx. 275 mm along the vertical door frames and per approx. 275 mm along the top and the bottom door frame) and may be installed with door frame both bolted, tack- and fully welded to the bulkhead.
The door is sealed with a silicone rubber of type “ST-SC-80 coloured” (from MEDInagen GmbH). The insulation and sealing materials are fixed using approved adhesive.
