Product Description

BalClor Ballast Water Management System (BalClor BWMS) has been developed to treat ballast water through prefiltration followed by disinfection with Active Substances (AS) produced by an electrolytic process during ballasting, and neutralization at de-ballasting. The technical approach can be summarized as: Filtration + Electrolyzing seawater to produce sodium hypochlorite + Neutralizing the residual TRO. The salinity and temperature of feed water to the Electrolyser Unit may be adjusted in accordance with the operational limits by mixing with brine/sea water and using of heat exchangers., - Filtration: automatic self-cleaning filter, removing large plankton and solid particles;, - Electrolyzing seawater to produce sodium hypochlorite: killing the residual planktons, pathogen, larval or spores., , The BalClor BWMS applies one of the following self-cleaning screen filters:, 1. BS filter series manufactured by Filtersafe, 2. SRF filter series manufactured by 725th Research Institute (Luoyang Ship Material Research Institute), 3. 6.18.3 or aquaBoll 6.18.3 filter candle series manufactured by Boll & Kirch, 4. KBW filter manufactured by Kanagawa
