Product Description
The VULASTIK-L coupling is a torsionally flexible coupling that compensates axial, angular and, to a certain degree, radial displacements of the connected machinery. Four rubber qualities and silicone are available in order to tune the coupling to the various system requirements. The couplings are available with one elastic element in standard design or in dual design with two parallel elements., Outer shell of couplings made from material either grade: , - G-AlSi7Mg-T64 with min. yield/tensile strength 120/210 N/mm^2 and min. elongation 6% (based on L/D = 5) or , - Gk-AlSi10Mg-T64 with min. yield/tensile strength 120/210 N/mm^2 and min. elongation 6% (based on L/D = 5) or, - Gk-AlSi12 with min. yield/tensile strength 75/180 N/mm^2 and min. elongation 7% (based on L/D = 5)., Integral Shaft Support: In addition to the cardan shaft series coupling programme a bell-housing with an integral bearing has been developed. This design will be fitted in installations where the cardan shaft has a large angle of inclination. The resulting lateral and axial reaction forces produced by the cardan shaft are absorbed by the bell-housing reducing the engine crankshaft external load.
