Product Description

The system is used for smoke monitoring in cargo holds. When the system is started up, the fan unit will extract air-sample from cargo holds through pipes and pre-filters, and then, transfer to detection boxes. Each separate smoke detector in a small detection box is used for monitoring the smoke in the air-sample from the appropriate detection line and then sends the analogue values to the control panel. The system will enter in fire alarm condition when the value increases as smoke density has reached to the alarm threshold level. It also can self-monitor for system faults, and the system will enter in fault warning condition when a system fault is occurred. In case of fire alarm condition or fault warning condition, visual and audible alarms will be given., , Sample Extraction Smoke Detection System consists of:, 1.Extension Panels (SDS-EP-04/08) with four (4) or eight (8) lines to be installed in CO2 Room, 2.Fire Alarm Panel (SDS-FP-01) to be installed in CO2 Room, 3.Fan Unit (SDS-FU-01/01E) to be installed in CO2 Room, 4.Repeat Panel (SDS-RP-01) to be installed in W/H or Engine Room, 5.Smoke Detection Panel (SDS-AP-08) to be installed in cargo holds, 6.Fire Sensor Protection Box (SDS-PB-01) to be installed at fan duct, , Smoke detectors of optical and/or ionization types (e.g., Discovery optical smoke detector, Apollo XP95 I.S. Type optical smoke detector, etc.) are to be used in line with above units.
