Product Description

S070D - Double Sliding (A-60),
is a double leaved sliding door consisting of an insulation core of 6 mm calcium silicate insulation board of type Supalux (density 875 kg/m3, manufactured by Promat) with 38 mm ceramic fibre insulation of
type Fire Master Marine Plus blanket (density 96 kg/m3, manufactured by Morgan Thermal Ceramics) on each side. On each side of the insulation core, 3 mm thick external steel sheets are glued on. The door leaves have internal stiffening arrangement, edge protection arrangement, etc.
Total door leaf thickness is 85 mm.
The door is constructed with a 5 mm thick C-junction in between, which is welded to the smallest door leaf. The biggest leaf has operation handles welded on each side. Upon closing of the door, the biggest leaf is inserted inside the C-junction. Insulation gaskets of type SILICA-FIBØ30 mm is used as sealing material along the door side end labyrinth and inside the C-junction (where also type SILICA-FIB Ø20 size is used).
The door frame may be welded or bolted (M12 bolts c/c 270 mm) to the bulkhead. The installation includes 3 x 30 mm ceramic band of type Sil-Tex. The door sill, which is 8 mm thick, includes screwed-on guides and rollers (matching the door leaf lower edge groove).
The railing arrangement above the door, includes brackets, rollers, etc. and is protected with a 5 mm thick cover (track house), fixed to the head of the frame by welding.
