Product Description

Riser joint flanges provide a mechanical means for joining two sections of marine drilling riser in end-toend
engagement and feature Load Sharing and Non-Load Sharing capabilites. Load sharing flanges
share a portion of the axial and bending load through auxiliary lines. Non-load sharing flanges are
designed to transmit axial and bending load through the main tube only.
The riser retainer nuts, inserts and bolts are used to join two marine drilling riser joints.
The seal sub is located in the flanged connections and seals wellbore fluid from the environment.
The lifting lug is a lifting attachment per API 16F §4.7.
