Product Description

1. The pressure-control valve (PCVN2-25) is located between fuel rail and low-pressure-system. Through changing the valve's cross section, the rail pressure can be set by pressure release into the low-pressure system. The pressure-control valve is closed, when being at zero current. This way, the necessary rail pressure is assured, even if a power stage fails. For protecting components against an inadmissibly high rail pressure, a pressure limiting function has been integrated in the pressure-control valve., , 2. Basic functions of the common rail injector (CRIN3-22) are the metering and spray preparation of diesel fuel, which is needed by the engine according to the engine fueling map. During one combustion cycle the total fueling can be split into multiple injection events, realizing pilot, main and post injection events. Inputs are the diesel fuel and the electrical current signal. Boundary conditions are the mechanical interface to the cylinder head, the forces by clamping and the high pressure connection, the vibrations and accelerations, the surrounding temperatures and the backpressure of the fuel drain.
