Product Description

The monorail air hoist System is a pneumatic hoisting system designed for handling the BOP and other materials from the parked position to the moonpool well centre and back. During drilling operations the monorail air hoist is disconnected and is in a parked position., , The hoist system consist of the hoist body, 2 pneumatic trolleys, chain, chain guide housing, chain stopper, bottom block hook or clavis , motor, brake and gearbox. All components are made of steel., , The hoist body consist of:, A single structural beam equipped with chain wheels, suspension points, bolts and two trolleys, bottom and top limit switches and chain anchor points., Chain guide with sprocket wheel fitted with bearings., Pneumatic motor with automatic fail safe brake type., A 4 stage planetary gearbox driven by a pneumatic motor (rotor and integrated spring brake) via a coupling. The 4th stage of planetary gearbox is connected to the chain sprocket for the hoisting and lowering of the hook load. , Fail safe brake is incorporated in the motor casing, , The trolleys consist of:, Two wheels per trolley fitted with bearings , One pneumatic motor with automatic fail safe brake on each trolley, , A bottom block including :, Two sprocket wheels with bearings, The hook or clevis with bearing, , The hoist motor is fitted with emergency lowering device as optional when requested by the customer., , In emergency the load can be lowered by using manual hand release handle fitted at the back of the motor housing., , The chain container is fitted on the chain guide for chain storage.,
