Product Description
The design concept of "Minifog" local application firefighting systems to provide for restricted fire suppression depends on well proven system components and nozzles that have satisfactorily undergone performance tests following the provisions of "IMO MSC/Circ. 913"., , The system comprises of low pressure FS90M5-MS/-SS (GW Sprinkler A/S Model M5) water mist nozzles. As standard, the system is an automatic operated dry system, i.e. there is no water in the system until the pump is started and the relevant section valves are opened.
Product Ratings
For nozzle parameters see attached table 1. The system requires a minimum flowing working pressure at each nozzle of between 3.5 and 9.1 bar as per the manufacturers approved manual.
