Product Description

“COSMO B-15 Class Fire door, type COSMO B-15SR-R”
A door construction consisting of a hinged steel door in a steel frame with total dimensions of
1130 mm x 2480 mm (w x h).
The door leaf is composed of 0.6 mm thick steel plates on each side of an insulation core, one on the
exposed and one on the unexposed side. The insulation core of this door leaf is composed of 1 layer of
mineral wool (nominal density 200 kg/m3) produced by KCC Corporation. Adhesive (BNUR-1000
manufactured by BN Chemical Co., Ltd.) is used for the fixation of insulation.
The door leaf incorporates a ventilation channel with one ventilation grille in the upper part of the door
leaf and one ventilation grille in the lower part of the door leaf. The ventilation grilles (407 mm x 450
mm (w x h)) are fastened with pop rivets/screws.
The top of the door leaf is provided with a 2.0 mm thick steel doubling plate (height 130 mm) on both
the unexposed and exposed side.
The lower corner (opposite of hinge side) is provided with a 2.0 mm thick steel doubling plate
(100 mm x 100 mm (w x h)).
The door leaf is fitted with 3 hinges and a stainless steel lock with handle.
Total thickness of door leaf: 45mm
The 1.5 mm thick steel doorframe with several alternatives for the bottom sill is fixed to the steel
bulkhead using Ø4 x 19 mm drilling screws and may also be welded to the bulkhead.
