Control, alarm and monitoring system for manoeuvring thrusters for auxiliary or dynamic positioning use
with five main configurations:
Tunnel thruster control type 1: Single control cabinet placed on bridge or in instrument room with
control panels installed at bridge.
Tunnel thruster control type 2: Single control cabinet placed in thruster room with interface to external
remote control system.
Tunnel thruster control type 3: Dual control cabinets, one placed in thruster room and another at bridge
with control panels installed at bridge.
Azimuth thruster control type 4: Dual control cabinets, one placed in thruster room and another at
bridge with control panels installed at bridge.
Azimuth thruster control type 5: Single control cabinet placed in thruster room with interface to external
remote control system.
