High tenacity polyester base fiber made from melted high viscosity polymer chips (PET) which is extruded/spun into a yarn strand filament and appropriately treated to achieve the desired product strength, elongation and uniformity. , The "MARINO" product is a marine finish applied directly to reduces wet yarn-on-yarn abrasion, and provides a more consistent strength and fatigue characteristics for the design lifetime.
