"Aluminium flush hatch"
Is a hatch fabricated from 5 mm thick aluminium main plate. Plate is reinforced by two flatbars of 40 mm x 6 mm welded to the main plate by intermittent welding in middle and by double continuous welding at its ends.Edge of hatch is stiffened by 40 mm x 6 mm flatbar welded at 90 degree angle to the main plate. Additionally main plate has a recess of dimensions 50 mm x 300 mm x 25 mm (W x L x D) to hide the handle when it is not used.
Hatch is of single acting type with four linked toggles and handle mounted centrally on hatch.
