Product Description
The Liquid Fuel Metering Valve/Actuator (FMV/A) Assembly consists (9902-358 & -383) of a liquid fuel metering valve and an electro-hydraulic actuator mounted together. The output shaft of the actuator provides linear movement to the fuel valve metering plunger. The linear movement of the metering plunger regulates the fuel flow. A constant pressure drop is maintained across the metering port by the delta P regulator inside the valve.

P/N 9902-358 & -358-G with a jump and rate limiter is used for Marine Main Propulsion Applications. | Maximum Fuel Flow Rate of 12,601 lb/hr. P/N 9902-381 without a jump and rate limiter is used for Electric Power Generation Applications. Normal operation: Fuel bypass Pressure = 140 psig, Fuel Inlet Pressure = 1140 psig (1000 psig above bypass pressure), Fuel Flow Rate = 11,200 lb/hr (0.84 s.g. fuel), Hydraulic Fluid Drain Pressure = 80 psig, Hydraulic Fluid Supply Pressure = 830 psig (750 psig above Drain Pressure). | Extreme Range: Fuel Bypass Pressure = 160 psig, Fuel Inlet Pressure = 1505 psig (1345 psig above Bypass Pressure), Fuel Flow Rate = 13,500 lb/hr (0.84 s.g. fuel), Hydraulic Fluid Drain Pressure = 300 psig, Hydraulic Fluid Supply Pressure = 1330 psig (1030 psig above Drain Pressure). For each Application, consult with the manufacturer for detailed Valve and Actuator characteristics including Electrical Wiring Specifications. P/N 9902-383 & -383-G. Maximum Fuel Flow Rate 13,220 lb/hr. | 1) Hydrostatic Tests before and after installation on board as per 4-6-2/7.3.1 and 4-6-2/7.3.3 of the Rules are to be to the satisfaction of the Surveyors. | 2) Fuel Oil Piping to and from the subject Metering Valve is to be in accordance with 4-6-5/3.7.1 and 4-6-5/3.7.2 of the Rules. | 3) Hydraulic Oil Piping to and from the subject Valve Actuator is to be in accordance with 4-6-7/3.5.1 of the Rules. |
